The home of Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre, KC's home for outstanding performances of great classic plays, modern works and premieres, the Warwick Theatre at 3927 Main Street, was built in 1912, renovated in the 1970's and bought by MET in 2016. MET moved here to make it our permanent home in 2018.  Together, with the Unicorn Theatre and Kansas City Young Audiences, the area around the corner of 39th and Main Streets has become a theatre hub.

On Feb 7, 2024, the theatre suffered a tremendous fire and has at last REOPENED! We can't wait to see you at a show or host your special event.
