Act 1: In one continuous scene, Thornton Wilder’s The Long Christmas Dinner chronicles six generations of an enterprising American dynasty into a series of family Christmas gatherings that captures the poignant joys and humor of family life.

Act 2: In A Christmas Memory, Truman Capote recalls an idyllic Southern holiday season when, as a young boy, he baked fruit cakes, gathered holly, and flew kites with the beloved eccentric cousin who raised him and inspired him to become a writer.

How do you tell truth to power when a king wants you to say that something happened that didn’t really happen, and requires you to swear that it did or lose your head?

A Man for All Seasons is the story of Sir Thomas More, an English statesman, lawyer, and Lord High Chancellor of England under King Henry VIII. Once the King’s beloved teacher, More’s relationship to the King fractures when he refuses to take the Oath of Supremacy swearing allegiance to the monarchy as the head of the Church of England and legitimizing the annulment of Henry’s marriage to Catherine of Aragon.

Chockful of moments of rich humor and transparent theatricality in modern style, More navigates his way through the maze of Henry’s marriages, potential martyrdom, the joy of his family, and the north star of his own morality.

Silent Sky tells the true story of Henrietta Leavitt, an astronomer ahead of her time. It is 1900 when Henrietta comes to work at Harvard University to become a human computer. She quickly learns that she will not be allowed to do any sort of astronomical discovery. Undeterred, Henrietta begins the process of recording the changes in Cepheid stars—a scientific discovery that has profound and lasting impact on the field of astronomy.

Silent Sky is the true story of a woman’s dedication to her passion for the stars and the human touch that makes life under the vast sky tender, beautiful, and timeless.
